Event Marketing for Urban Word NYC

Visual Designer / Brand & Marketing Consultant.

I was charged with developing and maintaining an aesthetic for Urban Word NYC's (UW) marketing collateral that was in line with UW's mission statement and brand. The aesthetic had to appeal to UW's core audience of teenagers and reflect UW's reputation as the premiere organization for the youth spoken word, poetry and hip-hop movements in New York City since 1999. This is a series of buckslips I created to market products for ALM and several of its divisions. The goal was to unite the various products and brands visually, with an aesthetic that evoked the feeling of receiving a unique and valuable offer.
